PROCEDURE
1. l created 6 planters for the barley to grow in.
1. I filled the containers with soil to within an inch of of the top of the container.
2. I cut out burlap rounds to fit the container tops.
3. I removed the centers of the lids so that only the screw top remains,
4. I evenly spread 1 tablespoon of barley seed across the surface of the soil.
5. I filled the remaining inch of the container with soil.
6. I screwed the burlap and lid onto the top of the container.
2. I watered each container with 200 milliliters of water every night and measured and recorded any new growth.
